RABO-DE-GATO-VERMELHO
Arbusto da família Euphorbiaceae e da espécie Acalypha hispida Willd.
Nota 1 e 2: Ele é originário da Índia. Ele é semi-herbáceo, ramificado, com 1,5-2,0 m de altura, de florescimento vistoso. Folhas largo ovaladas, pontiagudas, verdes com nervuras mais claras e margens levemente serrilhadas e persistentes. Inflorescências longas, vermelhas, cilíndricas, pendentes, vistosas, com inúmeras flores pequenas, no decorrer do ano. Na variedade ramosas, as inflorescências são avermelhadas e, na alba, são creme-esbranquiçado. É cultivado como planta isolada, em grupos ou renques, a pleno sol, em canteiros de terra fértil e irrigados periodicamente. Multiplica-se por estacas.

Note 1 and 2: It is from India. It is a ramified, semi-herbaceous, shrub originated from India with 1.5-2.0 m height, and showy flowering. Pointed, green, wide-elliptical leaves with brighter nervure and slightly serrated and persistent edges. Long inflorescence, red, cylindrical, pendent, showy, with innumerous little flowers during the year. On ramose variety, the inflorescence are red and, on the alba, they are creamy white. It is cultivated isolate or in groups or in tiers, full sun, on fertile soil stone cutters, and periodically irrigated. It multiplies dividing the older plants or branching the stakes.
