Arbusto da família Solanaceae e da espécie Cestrum nocturnum L.
Nota 1 e 2: Ele é originário das Antilhas. Ele é semilenhoso, de 1,5 a 3,0 metros de altura, com folhas lanceoladas, brilhantes, coriáceas, finas e alongadas. Inflorescências muito pequenas, creme –amarelado. Cultivada, geralmente, como planta isolada e mais raramente em grupos, dado o aroma forte das flores. É recomendado o cultivo afastado de janelas de dormitórios, em virtude do perfume forte, que pode causar reações alérgicas em certas pessoas. Multiplica-se por estacas e sementes.

Note 1 and 2: It is native of the Antilles. It is semi-woody, from 1.5 to 3.0 meters of height, with lanceolate, shiny, coriaceous, thin and long leaves. It has a very small yellowish-cream inflorescence. It is usually cropped isolated rarely in groups, due to the strong scent of the flowers. It is recommended the growing to be far from the windows and dorms, in virtue of the strong scent, which may cause allergic reactions to some people. It multiplies itself in stakes and in seeds.
