Arbusto da família Liliaceae e da espécie Dracanea goldiena Hort.
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é originária da África tropical. Ele é semi-herbáceo de caule fino, ereto de folhagem ornamental e vistosa. Folhas ao longo do caule, grandes, com pecíolo longo, verde-escuras, brilhantes, coriáceas, com faixas transversais de contorno irregular, verde-claras, esbranquiçadas com a idade das folhas, pontiagudas, avermelhadas, quando novas. Inflorescências com flores brancas, perfumadas, sem significado ornamental. É cultivada em vasos ou em grupos, em locais protegidos, mantidos umedecidos e com elevada porcentagem de umidade relativa do meio ambiente ou nebulizando as plantas em dias quentes e secos. Multiplica-se por estacas.

Note 1 and 2: It is from tropical Africa. It has a slender semi-herbaceous stem, erect of ornamental and showy leafage. The leaves along the stem are big, long petiole, dark-green, shiny, leathery with transversal stripes of irregular shape, light-green, whitish along the age of the leaves, pointed, reddish when new ones. Inflorescences with white leaves, perfumed, no ornamental meaning. It is cultivated in vases or in groups, in protected and humid places, and with an elevated moisture relative to the environment or nebulizing the plants in hot and dry days. It multiplies by stakes.
