RAMELA-DE-CACHORRO
Árvore da família Boraginaceae e da espécie Cordia grandifolia A.DC. (C. grandis Cham.).
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é nativa do Brasil (Rio de Janeiro e Minas Gerais). Ela é pequena, cujo porte medeia entre 6 e 10 m, frutos globosos, enfiados dentro do cálice, amarelos, de polpa doce adstringente degustada ao natural. Dos frutos se faz um xarope mucilaginoso e béquico.

Note 1 and 2: It is native from Brazil (Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais states). It is short, reaching the size between 6 and 10 m, rounded fruits, embedded inside the cup, yellow, with a sweet astringent pulp tasted au naturel. The fruits can be used to make mucilaginous and coughing syrup.
