As inflorescências são cônicas, alongadas, com flores em forma de sino, vermelhas, arroxeadas ou róseas, que ocorrem no verão. É cultivada em bordaduras e em conjuntos nos jardins. Exige solo fértil e permeável e irrigação periódica.

Its inflorescences are conical, elongate with bell-shaped flowers, which can be red, purplish or pinkish, blossoming during the summer. It can be cropped in bordering strips and gardens. It requires fertile and permeable soil and periodical irrigation.
