Nome de pelo menos três plantas venenosas da família Umbelliferae, das espécies Conium maculatum L., Cicuta virosa L. e Cicuta vagans L.
Nota 2: Ela é tóxica tanto a planta nova quanto a adulta, seca ou verde, causando envenenamento ao ser ingerida. A toxicidade é primordialmente devida ao alcaloide acutina ou conicina, havendo, porém, outros de menor significação. Suas folhas ao serem esfregadas desprendem cheiro nauseante de urina de rato.

Note 2: It is toxic when young or in the adult phase, when dry or green, causing poisoning after the intake. Its toxicity is due to the acutin or conicin alkaloid, however others are present but less important.The leaves when rubbed realease a nauseated smell of rat urine.
