Liana da família Bignoniaceae, das espécies Pseudocalymma elegans (Vell.) Kuhlm = (Adenocalymma elegans Bur.), Adenocalymma alliaceum Miers, Clystostoma callistegiodes Bur.
Nota 1 e 2: Ele habita predominantemente as encostas serranas do Rio de Janeiro, se ingerida por ruminantes em grande quantidade pode envenená-los e levá-los a morte, além de exalar forte odor de alho.
A liana of the family Bignoniaceae, of the species Pseudocalymma elegans (Vell.) Kuhlm = (Adenocalymma elegans Bur.), Adenocalymma alliaceum Miers, Clystostoma callistegiodes Bur Gnetaceae, of the species Ephedra triandra Tul.
Note 1 and 2: It is typically found on the hilly coast of Rio de Janeiro state. If it is in taken by ruminants in large quantity, they can be poisoned and taken into death. It exhales a very strong garlic smell.
