Fruto da família Malpighiaceae, da espécie: Bunchosia glandulifera (Jacq.) H.B.K. (Malpighia glandulifera Jacq.).
Nota 1: Ele é nativo da Amazônia, drupáceo, elipsoide que mede 2cm de comprimento, de casca bem fina, como das ameixas, avermelhada, mesocarpo carnoso comestível, endocarpo suberoso, mole, com uma só semente.
