Fruto da família Malpighiaceae, da espécie: A fruit of the family Malpighiaceae, of the genus Bunchosia, and of the species: Bunchosia armeniaca (Cav.) Rich (Malpighia armeniaca Cav.).
Nota 1: Ele é nativo da Amazônia, subespontâneo no Pará; drupáceo, elipsoide que mede 3cm x 2cm de diâmetro, de casca vermelho-viva, de sabor pouco agradável.
