Árvore da família Icacinaceae, da espécie Poraqueiba paraensis Ducke.
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é nativa das florestas do Pará.. Ela pode atingir de 10-15 m de altura. As folhas são alternas, simples, inteiras, de 25 cm de comprimento x 10-15 cm de largura, face superior verde-escura e a inferior amarelada com nervuras salientes e pubescentes. As flores têm 10-20 cm de comprimento x 6-15 cm de largura, base arredondada, ápice curto-acuminado, pétalas pilosas. O fruto é drupa ovóide, medindo 5-7 cm de comprimento x 3,5-4 cm de diâmetro, com polpa amarela, comestível, oleosa, enjoativa, que envolve um caroço grande, contendo albume amiláceo, comestível.

Note 1 and 2: It is native of the forests in the state of Pará. It can reach10-15 m of height. Its leaves are alternate, simple, whole, of 25 cm of length x 10-15 of width, dark green color in the superior face and yellow with salient and pubescent ribs in the inferior one. Its flowers have 10-20 cm of lenght x 6-15 cm of width, round base, short and acuminate appex, pilous petals. Its fruits are ovoid drupes, measuring 5-7 cm of length x 3.5-4 cm of diameter, with a yellow pulp, which is edible, oily, sickening, with a big stone, which has an edible amilaceous albumen.
