Variedade de Vitis labrusca L. (V. labruscana Bailey).
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é cultivada no Paraná e Santa Catarina. A videira é sadia, vigorosa, produtiva, com folhagem larga, espessa e rústica, recoberta na página inferior por uma lanugem grossa, de cor de ferrugem. É destinada tanto para mesa como para vinho; é uma importante matéria-prima para a produção de suco-de-uva.
A variety of Vitis labrusca L. (V. labruscana Bailey).
Note 1 and 2: It is cultivated in the states of Paraná and Santa Catarina. The grape is healthy, vigorous, and productive. It has a wide, thick and rustic foliage, which is recovered, in the top surface, by a thick fluff, which has a rusty colouration. It is suitable for not only table (consumed in natura) but also for wine; it is an important raw material for the production of grape juice, as well.
