CRINO
Nome comum dado as plantas do gênero Crinum, da família Amaryllidaceae, das espécies C. americanum e C. asiaticum.
Nota 1 e 2: Existem mais de 100 espécies ao redor do mundo, em regiões quentes e úmidas. São portadoras de bulbos tunicados, desenvolvidos e tenros, os quais dão origem à parte aérea com flores muito vistosas, de coloração branca com manchas vermelhas, que se apresentam durante o verão. Os caules de 50 a 60 cm se projetam para o ar, mostrando na base inúmeras folhas de caráter persistente, de lâminas largas e longas. No ápice do talo, as flores, às vezes poucas ou numerosas, formam inflorescências do tipo umbela com duas ramificações, e exalam fragrância agradável.

Note 1 and 2: It has more than 100 species all over the world in hot and humid regions. They have tunicated developed bulbs from which come out the aerial part with beautiful white red spotted flowers that blossom during the summer. The stems can reach from 50 to 60 cm to the outside, showing the plate with persistent leaves of wide and long blades. At the top of the stalk, some or many flowers make the umbel inflorescence with two branches that exhale a nice scent.
