CROTALARIA JUNCEA
Planta da família Leguminosae.
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é originária da Índia, introduzida no Brasil no início do século XX, no Centro-sul, especialmente no estado de São Paulo. Ela é exigente de calor, luz e umidade, cultivada para adubação verde e extração de fibras. Suas fibras passaram a ser utilizadas na indústria papeleira, pois se trata de matéria-prima, do tipo longo, da melhor qualidade.

Note 1 and 2: It is typical from India and introduced in the Central-south of Brazil in the 20th century, especially in the state of São Paulo. It requires hot temperatures, light and humidity. It is cropped for green fertilization and fiber extraction. Its fibers have been used in paper manufacturing industry due to its length of high quality.
