A propagação se dá por meio de estacas.

The infloresce are racemose and axillary, with greenish and unisexuate flowers, small, the masculine have 3 or 6 sepals, and the feminine have a persistent calyx, 5 petals, 5 scales, 3 ovate stores; the fruit is a small and trilocular capsule. The propagation occurs by stakes.
