CURUÁ-TINGA
Planta da família Palmae, da espécie Attalea monosperma Barb. Rodr. (A. spectabilis Mart. var. monosperma Barb. Rodr.).
Nota 1 e 2: Ela ocorre vastamente no Pará, formando povoações nos terrenos firmes do baixo Tapajós. É acaule com pouco mais de 50 cm; as folhas são majestosas que atingem 5m de comprimento; o fruto é drupa monosperma, justificando o nome da espécie.

Note 1 and 2: It highly found in Pará state with great plantations in the lower banks of the Tapajós River. Its stem has a little bit more than 50 cm; the leaves are big with approximately 5m of length; the fruit is a one-seed drupe, justifying the name of the species.
