CUTITIRIBÁ-GRANDE
Árvore da família Sapotaceae, da espécie Pouteria macrocarpa (Haber) Baehni (P. venosa Baehni; Lucuma macrocarpa Hub.; L. dissepala Ducke; L. ducketti Hub.; L. grandiflora Dub.; Radlkoferella macrocarpa (Hub.) Aubrév.).
Nota 1 e 2: Encontrada na Amazônia não em estado nativo, sempre cultivada, especialmente no Pará. Seu tronco e ramagem são semelhantes ao da goiabeira, com tons amarelados e se desfazem em lâminas. O fruto é baga grande como uma laranja ou até maior, com 10 cm de diâmetro, verde-amarelada. A polpa é espessa, amarela como gema de ovo, comestível, saborosa, de cheiro forte.

Note 1 and 2: It is found in Amazonia but not as a native species, always cultivated, especially in Pará state. Its trunk and branches are similar to the guava tree with yellowish tonalities ending in blades. The fruit is a big berry like an orange or bigger of 10 cm of diameter and yellowish green color. The pulp is thick and yellow like an egg yolk, edible and tasty but with a strong smell.
