CAJU-ANÃO
Arbusto da família Anacardiaceae, da espécie Anacardium nanum St. Hill. (A. occidentale var. nanum St. Hil., A. pumilum Walp.).
Nota 1 e 2: Ele é nativo da Amazônia, mas bem disseminado pelas terras quentes do Brasil, tais como Minas Gerais, Goiás, Distrito Federal. Ele tem caule tortuoso, rasteiro e subterrâneo; folhas obovadas, base obtusa; pseudofruto de coloração laranja para vermelha, medindo 3 cm x 2,0-2,5 cm, ácido; o fruto (castanha) reniforme, achatado e escavado.

Note 1 and 2: It occurs in Amazonia but well disseminated in hot climate Brazilian states such as Minas Gerais, Goiás, and Distrito Federal. It has a winding, creeping and underground stem; its leaves are obovate with obtuse base; the pseudofruit has an orange to red color with 3 cm x 2.0-2.5 cm and acid; the fruit (nut) is kidney-shaped, flat and hollow.
