CAJU-BICUDO
Árvore do caju da família Anacardiaceae, da espécie Anacardium rhinocarpus DC. (A. excelsa Skeels, Rhinocarpus excelsa Berth. ex. H.B.K.).
Nota 2: Ele é nativo das florestas da América Central e do nordeste da América do Sul. Ele é majestoso podendo atingir de 15-30 m de altura e tronco com mais de um metro de diâmetro. O fruto é uma castanha com 1,5-2 cm de comprimento x 1-1,5 cm de largura, lateralmente achatada e o pseudofruto tem um pedúnculo alargado, carnudo e comestível.

Note 2: It is native of the florests of Central America and the northern region of South America. It is has a big canopy reaching 15-30 m of height and the trunk diameter has more than one meter. The fruit is a nut with 1.5-2 cm of length x 1-1.5 cm of width, laterally flat and the pseudofruit has a large edible fleshy stalk.
