Nota 1 and 2: Introduzida no Rio Grande do Sul, sendo Bento Gonçalves o município maior produtor. Seu cacho é médio para grande, cônico, compacto, pedúnculo longo; baga média, ovóide, preta, polpa sucosa de sabor ácido e adstringente.

A cultivar of Vitis vinifera, mistaken for Syrah (Petite Syrah).
Note 1 and 2: It was introduced in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, where Bento Gonçalves is considered the biggest producing district. Its bunch is of medium to large size, conical, compact with a long stalk. The fruit is an ovoid black drupe of a juicy pulp of sour and astringent taste.
