Árvore da família Lauraceae, da espécie Acrodilium câmara Schomb.
Nota 1 e 2: Ela habita a Guiana e a Amazonia, de até 14 metros de altura, ramos cinzento-fuscos, amarelo-pálidos enquanto novos, folhas longopecioladas, acuminadas na base, até 15 cm de comprimento e 5 cm de largura, coriáceas, glabras, peninervadas, flores amarelas, hermafroditas, dispostas em panículas axilares, frouxas, corimbiformes, fruto baga oblonga, aromática, mais ou menos seca.Os frutos são excitantes, aromáticos, carminativos, antiespasmódicos, antidiarreicos e antidisentéricos.

Note 1 and 2: It dwells in Guiana and in Amazonia, it reaches up to 14 meters of height, grey-dusky branches (pale-yellow when young); leaves with long petioles, pointed in its basis, with until 15 cm of length and 5 cm of width, leathery, glabrous and peninerved. Its flowers are yellow, hermaphrodite, disposed in axillary panicles, floppy, with the form of a corymb; its fruits are oblong berries, aromatic and almost dry, being excitant, antidiarrheal, antispasmodic and antidisenteric.
