CAMBUÍ-DA-ÍNDIA
Arbusto da família Myrtaceae, da espécie Eugenia arrabidae Berg. (E. campestre Vell.).
Nota 1 e 2: Ele é encontrado nos estados de São Paulo e Minas Gerais, em campos e cerrados. É muito ornamental e fruticolamente modesto; folhas opostas, pecioladas, oblongas e pubescentes; flores brancas reunidas em pedúnculos axilares, mas terminais. Seu fruto é uma baga diminuta, amarela e sofrivelmente comestível.

Note 1 and 2: It is found in the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais in fields and regions of Cerrado. It is very ornamental and it has few fruits. It has opposite, peciolate, oblong and pubescent leaves. Its flowers are gathered in axillary peduncles, which are terminal. Its fruits are small and yellow but hardly edible.
