CAMÉLIA
Arbustos da família Ternstroemiaceae, do gênero Camellia, das espécies C. japonica L. (variedades Abby Wider, Lucida, H.A Downing e Presidente Clark), C. reticulata Lindl., C. sasanqua Thumb (Thea sasanqua Nois.).
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é originária da Ásia e foi introduzida no Brasil, especialmente nos estados do sul do país. É notável pela coloração de suas flores, brancas, vermelhas e variegadas, simples, semidobradas ou dobradas.

Note 1 and 2: It is native of Asia and it was introduced in Brazil, especially in the states of the south. It is remarkable because of the flower colouration, white, red or variegated, simple, semi-folded or folded.
