CAMOMILA
Planta da família Compositae, da espécie Matricaria chamomila, da variedade Comum.
Nota 2: Ela se desenvolve em climas amenos, exigindo alta insolação e solos com pH ao redor de 6,5. A colheita ocorre de julho a setembro e a produtividade varia entre 400 e 500 kg/ha. Ela é considerada medicinal, tintória e ornamental. Suas aplicações medicinais são: amenizar transtornos de digestão, antiesplamódica, reduzir as inflamações, eficiente em compressas sobre o abdômen para cólicas menstruais e instestinais; empregada na limpeza bucal, em doenças da garganta e inflamação dos olhos.

Note 2: It grows in soft weathers and demands high insolation and soils with a pH around 6.5. The crop occurs from July to September and the productivity varies between 400 and 500 kg/ha. It is considered medicinal, tinctorial and ornamental. It has many medicinal properties: digestion disorder, inflammation reduction, menstrual and intestinal cramp massage, mouthwasing, muscle spasm, throat illness and eye inflammation. Vulgarization: Italian camomilla, German chamomile, Hungarian chamomile, wild chamomile, scented mayweed.
