Nota 1 e 2: Elas ocorrem em todo o Brasil, inclusive no estado do Amazonas. São plantas anuais ou perenes; flores campanuladas em grupos de 2 a 8, de pétalas de várias cores, como lilás, rósea, vermelha, roxa, etc. Elas produzem grande quantidade de sementes, multiplicando-se intensamente por este meio. Elas infestam muitas lavouras, cercas e terrenos baldios do Norte ao Sul e do Leste ao Oeste; destaca-se a cultura de milho, frequentemente por elas invadidas. Algumas delas têm sido usadas de forma ornamental.

Their flowers have a bell shape, gathered in groups that have between 2 and 8 of them, their petals can have different colors as lilac, pink, red, purple, etc. They infest many crops, fences and vacant fields from the north to the south and from the east to the west. Corn crops are usually invaded by them. They produce many seeds, multiplying themselves through this method. Some of them have been used as ornamental. Vulgarization: tall morning-glory, purple morning glory.
