CAMPANÁRIO
Um cultivar de videira resultante do cruzamento vinifera x vinifera (Camarate Preto x Fernão Pires).
Nota 1 e 2: Foi introduzida de Oeiras (Portugal) para a Estação Experimental de Caxias do Sul, em 1965. Possui cacho médio em tamanho, pesando cerca de 200 g, com produção em torno de 7 kg/pé. Tem razoável resistência à antracnose, ao oídio e às podridões do cacho, mas teme o míldio. Baga preta, fraca de coloração, que é atijolada, embora seja o vinho agradável.
A cultivar of a grapevine coming from the crossing of vinifera x vinifera (Camarate Preto x Fernão Pires).
Note 1 and 2: It was introduced from Oeiras (Portugal) to the Expermiental Station of Caxias do Sul, in 1965. It has an average cluster size, with a weight of 200 g and a yield of 7 kg/plant. It has a fairly resistance to the anthracnose, to the oidium and to the cluster rottings, even though it fears the mildew. It has black berries, which are not very colorful; their color is similar to a brick color but its wine has a cheerful taste.
