CAMPANULÁCEAS
Família de ervas, subarbustos e trepadeiras com cerca de 59 gêneros e mais de 1100 espécies, destacando as seguintes espécies frutíferas: Canarina campanula Lam. e Centropogon lehmanii Zahlbr.
Nota 1 e 2: Elas se distribuem pelo mundo todo, principalmente nas regiões tropicais e subtropicais. Possuem quase sempre látex branco abundante. Muitas delas possuem propriedade medicinais, outras são boas forrageiras ou mais cultivadas em ajardinamento, e pouquissimas são espécies frutíferas.
A family of weeds, subshrubs and climbing plants with approximately 59 genera and more than 1,100 species. The two most known fruitful species are Canarina campanula Lam. and Centropogon lehmanii Zahlbr.
Note 1 and 2: They occur worldwide, especially in tropical and subtropical regions. They usually have white and abundant latex. Many of them have medicinal properties, some are good foraging plants and some are more appropriate for gardening activities and very few of them are fruitful.
