CANAIOLO
Cultivar de videira (Vitis vinifera).
Nota 1 e 2: No Brasil, ela é encontrada no Rio Grande do Sul, na região das cidades de Garibaldi e Bento Gonçalves. Na brotação, as primeiras folhas são quase brancas devido à densa lanugem do limbo, em contraste, as margens da folha são rosadas. O cacho tem um formato cônico, alongado e, às vezes, enorme, medianamente compacto. As bagas são oval-arredondadas, sucosas e possuem boa resistência ao apodrecimento. A videira tem brotação tardia, é sensível à antracnose e o míldio pode aparecer nos cachos. Essa uva é uma das mais importantes castas viniferas italianas para vinho tinto.

Note 1 and 2: In Brazil, it is found in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, in the cities of Garibaldi and Bento Gonçalves. In the sprouting, the first leaves are almost white due to the thick sheat fluff, in contrast, the leaf margins are pink. The bunch has a conical and elongate shape, sometimes big, and compact at average. The berries are rounded oval, juicy and have a good resitance to rotting. It has a late sprouting, is sensitive to anthracnose and mildew causing the buch rotting. It is one of the most important grapes for Italian red wine.
