CAPIM-TANGOLA
É um híbrido natural entre Brachiaria mutica e Brachiaria arrecta.
Nota 1 e 2: Foi coletado no vale do Itabapoana (RJ) e posteriormente selecionado em Itaguaí (RJ). Ele é perene, estolonífero e prostrado; ele se enraíza através dos nós em contato com o solo. Ele possui folhas curtas e largas, vegeta tanto em locais secos como úmidos, ele também se desenvolve bem em lugares encharcados e tolera encharcamente periódico. Alguns casos de intoxicação leve de bovinos foram detectados.
It is a natural hybrid between Brachiaria mutica and Brachiaria arrecta.
Note 1 and 2: It was collected in the Itabapoana Valley (RJ) and later selectioned in Itaguái. It is perennial, stoloniferous and prostrated; it roots through its nodes, which stay in contact with the soil. It has shorts and wide leaves, it vegetates in drought places, as it does in moist ones; it also grows well in flooded places and it tolerates periodic submersion. Some cases of cattle intoxication were reported.
