An herbaceous plant of the family Liliaceae, of the gender Agapanthus africanus.
Note 1 and 2: It is originated from Africa. It adapted quite well to the conditions here in Brazil, producing white, blue and purple flowers. The flowers have a very good durability therefore are used as pruning flowers. Vulgarization: african tulip, loveflower.
