Nota 1 e 2: Ela cresce nos pantanais mato-grossenses, nas terras ribeirinhas do São Lourenço; Seu fruto é drupa globosa, amarelada, de 22 – 23 mm de diâmetro, muito perfumada, justificando o cognome da espécie, pericarpo fino e quebradiço que envolve polpa alaranjada, comestível e saborosa.
