Objetivo
O objetivo do curso é apresentar aos alunos as abordagens básicas de probabilidade, inferência
estatística e modelos de regressão com ênfase na sua interpretação e aplicabilidade aos problemas de
administração. Para tal o curso está dividido em duas partes distintas onde são abordados inicialmente
a parte de estatística descritiva, probabilidade e inferência estatística. Na segunda parte são
apresentados modelos de regressão e análise multivariada destacando-se a sua utilização e
interpretação relacionando a variável resposta com as variáveis explanatórias.

Conteúdo
Introdução aos métodos quantitativos; bases de conhecimentos estatísticos e matemáticos, estatística
para modelagem, estruturação de dados para pesquisa, sistemas de modelagem, modelos de
regressão, escalonamento multidimensional e análise multivariada de dados.
