Applications for the second semester of 2026 are open for the master’s, doctoral, and direct doctoral programs from August 1 to August 20, 2026, until 11:59 PM (Brasília time).
The admissions committee will not consider late applications or submissions of materials after the deadline.
The period for correcting submitted documents will be from August 21 to August 31, 2026, until 11:59 PM (Brasília time). This period is not for submitting additional documents, but only for regularizing files with pending issues or problems.
Applications must be submitted exclusively through the online application form.
Important: To access and complete the application form, you must be signed in to a Google account (Gmail). If you do not yet have an account, please create one before starting your application.
1. As the form is extensive and requires the upload of documents during completion, applicants are strongly advised to gather all required documents in advance. Please read the instructions below carefully before filling out the form and, at the end of this page, click Start Application.
Attention: The absence of an asterisk (*) in some fields of the form does not mean that completion of the field or submission of the document is optional for all applicants. Certain documents are required only for specific graduate programs. Carefully check the description of each item to identify which documents are mandatory for your program.
2. Documents uploaded to the form must be scanned in PDF format, or in Excel format when specifically requested. Since the documents will be reviewed by an evaluation committee, files must be complete, legible, correctly oriented, and in a compatible format.
Before uploading, please make sure they meet these requirements. Documents that are upside down, incomplete, in unsupported formats, or of poor visual quality may adversely affect your evaluation.
3. Name each file according to the corresponding document. Examples: Application Form, Curriculum Vitae, Undergraduate Academic Transcript, and Undergraduate Diploma, and so forth. Do not add your name to the file name. During the upload process, your name will be added automatically to the file name.
4. If you plan to submit your application on the final day of the application period, please remember to pay the application fee within banking hours, as payment scheduling receipts will not be accepted. Requests for an application fee reduction must be submitted by August 6, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (Brasília time), in accordance with the procedures described at https://www.esalq.usp.br/pg/reducao-taxa.
5. Beginning on September 10, 2026, applicants may verify confirmation of receipt of their application by the Graduate Office on the Received Applications page.
